opening my coaching cal to the public 🎉
let's work together to reset your month, regardless of today's date.
You know when you’re craving the surge of motivation that comes with a fresh start, like the start of a new month, the start of a new semester, the start of a new year—but you can’t access that motivation right now, because you’re smack in the middle of it all?
When you realize all the things you told yourself you’d do by this time…aren’t done?
When progress seems non-existent, even if that’s not true?
When goals are blurry and you feel stuck?
I think I figured out a way around all that. (Well, kind of.)
For years now, whenever I’ve felt stuck in that familiar, muddy middle, I use the same twelve tools to try to climb out and start fresh: 11 reset questions and 1 conversation with a friend.
I’ve known for years about how helpful these reset questions are; they’re the only form of “goal-setting” that my quick-to-plan, slow-to-execute Self can handle. I’ve also shared these questions with you before—those of you who attended last year’s Community Meetups will recognize them from our workbook.
It’s the “one conversation with a friend” thing that has been a more recent epiphany.
When I thought back on the times I was able to shift from feeling lost and overwhelmed to grounded and capable— the times I actually felt like I had internally reset —it wasn’t just thanks to those 11 prompts.
It was the combination of those reflection questions alongside a conversation with someone I trust that made all the difference.
Shoutout to the friends who have helped me audio-process my way out brain glitch and back into grounded goals! I love and appreciate you. So much. Very. A lot.
And then it occurred to me: I already practice this with many of my clients! We reflect together on their month, figure out what’s going on with their body’s energy budget, and set fresh goals that are grounded in compassionate reality.
So…why not do this with y’all?
reset your month, whenever
Your past few weeks need some closure; your next few weeks need some priorities. Let’s work together to reset your month, regardless of today's date!
alexis, what is this?
A 90-minute one-on-one coaching session, pre-session Grounding Questionnaire, the Monthly Reset Workbook, and my fully customizable, annual Monthly Reset Notion Template (not yet available to the public!).
I’m socially anxious. how does this work, exactly?
No worries, same. Here’s the process, in detail:
You use this link to book a spot on my coaching calendar for our 90-minute session.
I’ll send you a confirmation email with a bunch of stuff in it: our meeting room link, a link to your pre-session “homework,” and a link to your Workbook and customizable Notion Template.
You’ll set aside time to complete the Grounding Questionnaire (your homework) BEFORE our session together, hit ‘submit,’ and then chill.
I’ll send you (1) reminder email about our session 24 hours before, but that’s it; no inbox noise.
On session day, you’ll use the meeting room link in our confirmation email to join me in our Whereby Meeting Room. It’s just like Zoom or Google Meet—but there’s only one link to keep track of, so we’re both less likely to lose it. It’s a video call, but you’re welcome to request the camera stays ‘off,’ if that’s more accessible for you.
In session, we’ll get to know each other a bit. I’ll ask you custom reflection questions based on your homework responses to help put how you’ve been doing/feeling lately into context. Then we’ll use that context (and whatever else you realize about your body’s energy budget) to design realistic priorities for the next couple weeks. So, goal-setting, but in its lowest-key form.
After wrapping up our 90-minute session, I’ll email you some notes from our conversation that you can use to set intentions for your upcoming month.
That’s where the Monthly Reset Workbook and Notion Template come in handy—you can copy/paste pre-session reflections, gather your post-session thoughts, and draft up fresh intentions, all in one place.
If you ask me to, I’ll also send you a friendly check-in email a few weeks later, to remind you that however things are going, you’re not alone.
how much does this cost?
$97 is the base rate for our 90-minute coaching session, pre-session questionnaire, post-session notes, PDF workbook, and customizable Notion template.
But if you have access to the funds, adding a "tip" at checkout helps me continue to offer my coaching labor for free and sliding scale to anyone who needs it. (Suggested "tip” for people w/ financial stability: $20 - $100).
For some honest context: For the past several months, I’ve earned less money than the cost of my rent/bills (and I know I’m not the only one struggling to make ends meet right now). Your generosity is deeply appreciated!
wait, what’s the monthly reset notion template?
I love this thing so much.
Inside, you’ll find twelve months’ worth of Monthly Reset questions — one set of prompts for every month of the year, any year, for as long as you feel like using the template.
Actually, it’s two sets of prompts for every month of the year: a Full-Battery Edition, with 11 questions for when you’ve got plenty of journaling capacity, and a Low-Battery Edition, with just 6 questions for whenever you’re running on low focus.
But this isn’t just a digital journal; I’ve also designed it to remember the year for you.
Inside each Monthly Reset are ‘synced blocks’ that automatically fill your responses into an End of the Year Reflection template (also included), ready to be revisited at your personal new year.
This means that months from now, when you’re ready to give closure to this wild-ass year, you won’t need to strain to remember what happened in July, what you realized in March, or what you were working through in September. It will already be there, automatically filled in, waiting for you.
The template also comes with a full video walkthrough and step-by-step instructions, so you don’t need to be a Notion expert to make use of this thing!
what’s the monthly reset workbook?
Those 11 questions I ask myself whenever I need to give closure to last month and set priorities for the next one, nicely packaged and ready for you to print out and scribble on.
Like the Notion Template, this 18-page PDF workbook includes the Full-Battery and the Low-Battery Edition, so you can choose the number of reflection prompts you want, based on your capacity at that moment.
can I skip the coaching session and just get the workbook or notion template?

what kind of coach are you? do you have any training?
Nowadays I like to think of myself as a neuro-affirming peer coach, but yes, I have two certifications and hundreds of hours of coaching experience.
As a positive psychology-certified, integrative somatics-certified, trauma-informed, and ICF-trained life/work coach, my job is to be a mirror—to help you catch up to all the ways you’ve already changed.
As a queer and neurodivergent person with a handful of chronic conditions and a hyper-sensitive body (who only discovered that vocabulary to describe myself in the past five-ish years), I’m big on self-awareness as a tool to make life more livable within our communities—and not on trying to “fix” ourselves.
I don’t think we need fixing; I think we need support.
I’m not interested in trying to self-optimize, grind, or hack my way into any form of productivity anymore. I’d much rather tune into my body’s “energy budget” (what I call its ever-shifting capacity for focus, creativity, and sociability) and to practice better adapting to change. If that sounds like your vibe, let’s work together!

Looking forward to e-meeting you!
Anyways,
Alexis
PS: If you are horrified by the unrelenting devastation and death that Palestinians in Gaza are suffering at the hands of the Israeli and U.S. governments, and are feeling so overwhelmed that you’re at risk of numbing out—I highly recommend joining me at these Weekly PSA [Palestine Solidarity Announcement] Friday webinars.
They’re hosted by several orgs based in the Bay Area, but offer useful info for wherever you live. These teams synthesize news updates in a way that is not re-traumatizing (for me), while providing clear calls to action / ways to get involved. They even open the webinar with a grounding somatic practice, which I appreciate!
They’re at 12pm pst / 3pm est on Fridays, virtual, FREE, and low-spoons-friendly w/ cameras and mics 100% OFF. If you can’t attend live you’ll get an email with the recording link. Sign up here for free. ♥️
